The Office is paneled with French oak.
Beautiful paintings adorn the walls. On
part of the floor is an old, robin's egg
blue Persian carpet.

To the left of the door you came though
is a is a hugh wooden cabinet built into
the wall. It has 8 panels.

Upon closer examination, you see that
each panel is engraved with a different
scene. They depict...
(1) A Knight holding the sable banner of Ansteorra (info on the SCA in Ansteorra - TX & OK)
(2) SCA revelers gathered from all the Known World (the SCA homepage)
(3) The emblazon of Ansteorra with a calendar superimposed (Ansteorra Calendar of Events)
(4) A man helping a group of bewildered looking SCA newcomers (SCA Hospitaler info)
(5) A group of 30 individuals arguing and deliberating (Grand Council)
(6) A man courting a beautiful maiden on a garden bench (Poetry Collection)
(7) A Court Herald reading a scroll (information on court and field heraldry)
(8) A vintner checking a glass of new wine (Vintning the Landsknecht Way)
In the back of the room, behind the
desk, sits an unassuming Landsknecht
with a disarming smile and a strong
handshake.

"Hello, I am Tristan von Heidelberg,
Hauptmann of Die Schwartze
Gesellschaft's Erste Fahnlein. If you're
looking for the Obrist, you may want to
check either the Training Hall or the
Armoury.
"If you want to find the SCA group in a specific city, I would recommend this List of SCA Groups.

By the way, if you want to leave the Obrist a message, write it on this pad of paper."

Once you have finished exploring, you can take the door behind the desk, which opens onto the
Garden Terrace, or the door that leads back to the Grand Hall.
