You silently trigger the latch and by doing so, open the hidden door. You enter and walk 40' down a dark passage way that ends in a door. You go through it and enter a small private chapel. To the right of the door you enter through stands a Landsknecht. He sees you and immediately places a finger across his lips, motioning you to stay silent. He whispers in your ear, "Sei Stumm, bitte. Ze Obrist iz dooink heez efning prayerz." In front of the shrine is another Landsknecht. A HUGE ostrich feathered hat lies on the floor next to this kneeling black and white clad gentleman. This must be the Lord and Master of Schloss Modius. You back out silently. You notice other doors in the dark secret passage, all marked. The doors are labeled Grand Hall, Office, Armoury, Caves, Bedroom, Garden Terrace, Training Halls, Messhall, Landsknect Quarters, Kitchen, Library, and Entry. |
